Panasonic and Nasscom CoE Host Innovation Roundtable on Smart Living
Panasonic Life Solutions India (PLSIND), in collaboration with the MeitY Nasscom Center of Excellence (CoE), organized an industry-academia roundtable, Ignition Bridge Innovation, at Nasscom’s CoE facility in Bengaluru. The event aimed to encourage strategic dialogue between industry leaders, academic institutions, and startups to co-create the future of smart residential living spaces in India.
Manish Misra, Chief Innovation Officer, Panasonic Life Solutions India, shared, “We’d initiated the ‘Ignition Challenge’, i.e., a corporate accelerator program aimed at improving the lives of Indian consumers through tech breakthroughs. The Ignition Bridge Roundtable is an extension of this initiative that further bolsters our mission.” He added that initiatives include research partnerships, smart home cluster deployments, and scalable community pilots to drive sustainable living.
Senior leadership from leading institutes like the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, and Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani joined deep tech startups from the Nasscom CoE network to explore collaborative models to co-develop and launch smart home solutions that can cater to the Indian market’s changing needs.
