AIAMA Announces International Agarbathi Expo in Bengaluru

To position India as a global hub for agarbathi manufacturing, the All India Agarbath Manufacturing Association (AIAMA) has announced AIAMA EXPO 2025, an international expo and conference. The event, set to take place from November 6-8, 2025, at Tripura Vasini, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru, is conceptualized around the theme ‘Traditionally Modern’.
Ambica Ramanjaneyulu, President, AIAMA, pointed out that the expo aims to promote innovation, encourage sustainability, and instill a sense of pride among industry stakeholders. “We believe that celebrating our heritage is key to shaping a progressive future for the industry,” he shared.
Arjun Ranga, Chairperson, AIAMA EXPO, highlighted that the expo would help the industry adapt to growing global demand and showcase new opportunities. “We are curating an immersive experience that celebrates the rich legacy of agarbathis and the key milestones of the Association. The showcase will feature rare agarbathi samples, iconic photographs, prestigious awards, and other significant memorabilia,” he added.
Spread over 120,000 sq ft, the expo will host seminars on several aspects within the agarbathi industry, such as job creation, raw material sourcing, packaging developments, export opportunities, new-age marketing, and women’s empowerment. AIAMA will also introduce BIS certification as the quality benchmark for the industry during the event.
Supported by industry bodies like the Fragrance and Flavours Association of India (FAFAI), the Fragrance and Flavour Development Centre (FFDC), the Essential Oils Association of India (EOAI), and others, the event will witness international participation from Vietnam, Indonesia, and Europe, with over 5,000 delegates expected.
